to be honest, he's picturing her friend as royalty. satsuki kiryuin, reinvented as some sovereign queen from a far-off land who could cause someone like nonon to take offense at any sign of irreverence, derisiveness only tempered by painstaking respect. there's no vacillating doubt in her haughty proclamation.
